Habi Kids: MY ROOM-interior design workshop

The idea of the MY ROOM-workshop is to decorate and furnish a scaled model of a room. The workshop makes participants familiar with interior and furniture design as well as a wide variety of different techniques and materials related with scaled model making. All the participants are free to choose the approach for their space, for example whether to just create a certain atmosphere for the room or go for more detailed, exact furniture design.

The teachers for the workshops are textile artist, art teacher Pia Nieminen and designer, cabinetmaker Tuulia Penttilä. Habi Kids is a satellite event of the Children’s Weekend, produced by Helsinki Design Week.
